Neurological Rehabilitation · Yelahanka, North Bengaluru
From stroke and Parkinson's disease to vertigo, facial palsy and spinal cord injury, Impulse Physiotherapy provides structured neurological rehabilitation coordinated with your treating neurologist — for conditions that just happened, and conditions you've been living with for years.

A wide range of neurological conditions, assessed individually by our neurorehabilitation team.
Other neurological conditions are considered after assessment by our neurorehabilitation team, and both acute conditions — recently diagnosed or just discharged from hospital — and long-standing chronic conditions are managed. Early rehabilitation often improves recovery after an acute event, while structured long-term programmes help chronic conditions with mobility, strength, balance, function and quality of life.
We work closely with neurologists throughout treatment, and refer patients back promptly if there are signs that need urgent medical attention rather than physiotherapy — sudden worsening weakness or paralysis, new speech or swallowing difficulty, new seizures, altered consciousness, rapid progression of neurological symptoms, severe uncontrolled pain, suspected recurrent stroke or TIA, unexplained falls with neurological deterioration, or any sign of medical instability. Your physiotherapist is trained to recognise these and act on them without delay.

Facial palsy is managed as part of Neurological Rehabilitation, with individualised facial muscle retraining, neuromuscular re-education, electrotherapy where appropriate, home exercise guidance, and specialist referral whenever required.
Every programme is individualised — not every modality is used for every patient.

With your consent, we coordinate directly with your treating neurologist, neurosurgeon or physician whenever required — whether they're part of Anand Abhigyan Healthcare or an outside hospital — to ensure continuity of care and an integrated rehabilitation plan, rather than physiotherapy running separately from your medical treatment.

Home visits are available, especially for patients with significant mobility limitations who find travelling to the clinic difficult. As recovery progresses, we encourage a transition to clinic-based rehabilitation whenever feasible, so patients can access advanced equipment and a broader range of therapies not practical to bring to a home setting.
Caregiver education is an integral part of neurological rehabilitation, not an afterthought. Family members are trained directly, so recovery continues between sessions rather than pausing until the next appointment.
